We had the challenge of creating AMATA’S 2016 annual report. A company that was born with the purpose to keep forests standing and manages four forest territories in Brazil was getting ready that year to show new ways of using wood as a solution to many challenges of our time.

We started with an extent mapping of AMATA’s content and their previous reports. We created hierarchies for the information in a clear and objective way, with three essential structures: beginnings, middles and ends. With the graphic language, we used the monotype resource of the tree trunks to create a proprietary and inspiring identity regarding the related content. For the video, we elaborated a script that tracks the main highlights of 2016 through the footage we recorded in Paraná’s AMATA Operation.
